Privacy: what this site collects, and where it goes

Effective October 29, 2026. This site belongs to Matthew Ragudo, an independent group health broker in the Austin area, Texas.

What you send me

The Plan Report form asks for your name, work email, company, state, number of employees, renewal month and year, your latest renewal increase, how the plan is funded, and whether you’re a fractional CFO asking for a client. When you send it:

  • It comes to me as an email at aloha@mattragudo.com and is saved as a record in my private Notion workspace.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you aren’t a bot, so Cloudflare sees your IP address for that check.
  • Your IP address is turned into a scrambled code to limit repeat submissions. The code expires in about an hour.

Please don’t put Social Security numbers, member ID numbers or anyone’s health information in the form.

What stays in your browser

The Renewal Benchmark Check and the ICHRA comparison run in your browser. What you type there isn’t sent to me or anyone else. If you carry your numbers over to the Plan Report form, they travel in the page address, and the site removes them before anything goes to Google Analytics.

Visit counts

Two tools count visits to this site:

  • Google Analytics. It sets cookies and receives the page address, the page you came from, device and browser details, and how you moved through the site. Google uses your IP address to estimate a general location; Google Analytics doesn’t store IP addresses. Google’s optional data sharing settings for this account are turned off. Google’s privacy policy and its page on how Google uses information from sites that use its services apply. You can block it with Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on or your browser settings.
  • Umami, a visit counter at analytics.matthewragudo.com. It doesn’t set cookies.

Browsers’ “Do Not Track” signals aren’t acted on, because there’s no common standard for them. Google Analytics can see your visits to this site over time; the opt-out add-on stops that.

What I don’t do

  • I don’t sell or rent your information.
  • I don’t use it for advertising.
  • I don’t add you to an email list. If that changes, it will be opt-in only.

If you become a client

Plan documents, rates, enrollment and claims that you or your carrier send after you sign are handled under the engagement letter. Claims detail on individuals only comes in after a business associate agreement is signed. Documents come through a secure link.

Seeing, fixing or deleting your information

Email aloha@mattragudo.com and I’ll tell you what I have, correct it, or delete it. Records the law requires me to keep stay for as long as the law requires.

Changes

If this page changes, the effective date at the top changes with it.
